About Us
A Cry For Help Corp (ACFHC) is a 501 C 3 Non-Profit established in Wilmington, N.C. in April 2008. We provide relief to the poor, distressed, and underprivileged youth, who are at risk of not developing the skills needed to be productive contributors in their communities. ACFHC provides mentoring and tutoring to youth between the ages of 5-17. Our youth focused activities are planned by ACFHC. These activities have several purposes: to build self-esteem and self-confidence for youths, to help improve their social skills and relationships with others, and to give youth a sense of community. Our youth focused activities are broken down into different categories: education, health and fitness, community services, and amusement. ACFHC promotes success.
Our Mission Statement
To provide children in need with both one-on-one and group mentoring/tutoring. A positive role model will enlighten a child and increase their social skills, creativity and intellect.
